Terms, conditions and privacy notice

What applies when you ask us for a quote and when we do the work, written in the same plain English as the rest of the site. If anything is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp before you accept the quote.

Last updated: August 16, 2026

  1. 1. Who we are

Grupo Renova is a general construction and maintenance company operating in Tijuana, Baja California. In this document, “we” means Grupo Renova and “you” or “the client” means whoever uses this site or hires our services.

By using this site or asking us for a quote you accept these terms. If you disagree with any of them, do not use the site or hire the service.

  2. 2. What this site is

This site is informational. Nothing is sold or contracted online: there is no cart, no payments and nothing is signed here. Its only job is to let you reach us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email to ask for a quote.

The quote form does not send emails and does not store anything: it builds a WhatsApp message out of what you typed and opens the app. You decide whether to send it.

  3. 3. Quotes

Quoting is free and we answer within 24 business hours. A quote is an estimate based on the information, photos and measurements you give us; if conditions on site turn out to differ from what was described, we tell you before continuing and adjust the price with you.

A quote only binds both parties once you confirm it in writing — WhatsApp or email is enough — and we accept it. Material prices can move, so every quote states how long it is valid; past that date it has to be reviewed.

Anything not described in the accepted quote is additional work and gets quoted separately before it is done.

  4. 4. Prices and payment

Every quote is itemized into materials, labor and working days. Deposit, progress payments and final balance are agreed in writing in that same quote, before work starts.

Unless the quote says otherwise, prices are in Mexican pesos. If you need an invoice, tell us before we issue the charge.

  5. 5. Scheduling and cancellations

The start date is agreed in writing once the quote is accepted. If you need to reschedule or cancel, tell us as early as you can: materials already purchased and work already performed are charged according to progress.

We may reschedule for rain, lack of access to the site, a water or power outage, or any cause outside our control. When that happens we tell you the same day and agree a new date with you.

  6. 6. What we need from you

To work we need access to the site during the agreed hours, plus water and power available when the job calls for it.

Permits, licenses or authorizations required by your condo, mall or local authority are your responsibility, unless the quote expressly says we handle them. Clearing valuables, fragile or personal items out of the work area before we arrive is also on you.

We need you to tell us what you know about hidden installations — piping, wiring, structure — before we start. We are not liable for damage to installations that were not visible and were not disclosed to us.

  7. 7. Warranty

Every job carries a written 6-month warranty on our workmanship, counted from delivery. If something we did fails within that window, we come back and fix it at no charge.

The warranty does not cover: misuse or use other than intended, lack of maintenance, third-party work on top of ours, materials supplied by the client, normal wear, or damage from causes outside the job — pre-existing damp, structural movement, power grid swings, weather or force majeure.

Materials and equipment keep their manufacturer’s warranty, with its own terms and periods. To claim ours, write to us through any of the contact channels and describe the failure; keep your accepted quote.

  8. 8. Where we work

We cover all of Tijuana with no travel fee. Outside Tijuana we may take the job, but it is quoted separately and includes travel.

  9. 9. Site content

Portfolio photos mix our own work with reference images that show the kind of work we do; the ones marked as reference are labeled on the card itself. No image on this site should be read as a promise of an identical result: every job depends on the site, the materials and the scope quoted.

Published reviews are from real clients and are published with their consent. The texts, photos, logo and the name Grupo Renova are ours; do not use them without written permission.

  10. 10. Third-party services

Primary contact happens on WhatsApp, a third-party service with its own terms and its own privacy policy. We do not control that service and are not responsible for its availability. The same goes for phone and email.

  11. 11. Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep the information correct and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or that the site is always available.

Our liability for a job is what the accepted quote and the 6-month warranty establish, and it does not exceed the amount paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. None of this limits the rights Mexican law grants you as a consumer.

  12. 12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date at the top. Changes do not affect quotes already accepted.

  13. 13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Mexican law. For any dispute, both parties submit to the courts of Tijuana, Baja California, waiving any other jurisdiction. In consumer matters, the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) is competent to hear complaints.

Privacy notice

Privacy notice

How we handle your personal data, under Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

  1. 1. Who is responsible for your data

Grupo Renova, operating in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

  2. 2. What data we collect

Whatever you give us so we can quote and do the job: name, phone, email, the address where the work happens, and the photos and description of the problem you send us. If you request an invoice, also the tax details the law requires.

We do not collect sensitive data and we do not ask for it. If you send photos, avoid including personal documents or information that is not needed to quote.

This site is static: it has no server of its own, no database, no tracking cookies, no advertising and no analytics tools. We collect nothing while you browse. The quote form sends information nowhere: it builds the message on your phone and opens WhatsApp with it. Everything we know about you arrives because you wrote to us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email.

  3. 3. What we use it for

Necessary purposes: preparing and sending your quote, contacting you to resolve questions, scheduling and performing the work, buying materials, invoicing and collecting payment, and honoring the 6-month warranty.

We have no secondary purposes: we do not send you advertising, we do not build mailing lists and we do not profile you. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

  4. 4. Who we share it with

We do not transfer your data to third parties without your consent, except in the cases the law allows without it: when a competent authority or a legal obligation requires it, or when it is necessary to perform the contract with you.

When a job requires an outside supplier or specialist, we give them only what is indispensable to do it — usually the address and the job description — and they are bound by the same confidentiality.

  5. 5. Your ARCO rights

At any time you can ask us to access your data, correct it if it is wrong, cancel it or object to our using it; you can also withdraw your consent or limit how your data is used.

Send your request to our contact email with the subject “ARCO rights”. Include your name, a way to reply to you, a copy of an official ID and exactly what you are asking for. We answer within 20 business days at most and, if it goes through, we act on it within the following 15 business days.

Cancelling your data may prevent us from continuing an ongoing job or honoring the warranty, because we need it for that. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can turn to INAI, Mexico’s data protection authority.

  6. 6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as the relationship lasts, plus the 6 months of warranty, plus whatever time the law requires us to keep tax and accounting records. After that it is deleted.

  7. 7. Changes to this notice

Any change to this notice is published on this same page, with its last-updated date. We recommend checking it from time to time.
